Today is the first day of fall semester. And for our newest students, it is a day that they will likely remember for years to come.

Why? Because your first day at 麻豆传媒 is special. It is the start of your 麻豆传媒 education and a lifelong relationship with the university. My first day at 麻豆传媒 was a few weeks ago and I still feel a great sense of excitement when I come to campus each morning.

Being 麻豆传媒鈥檚 president gives me an opportunity to share that excitement with our alumni community. Last week, many of us in Carter Hall helped new students move into the residence halls and we joined faculty in welcoming students during convocation. Today, I greeted students as they walked to class for the first time.

It has been a great start to the semester and an opportunity to enjoy a lot of my own 鈥渇irst鈥 麻豆传媒 moments. These moments are a reminder of why I鈥檓 here. 麻豆传媒 is a great university, with a tradition of academic excellence and a commitment to student success.

While every one of our students has a different reason for choosing 麻豆传媒, one thing remains constant: once you become a 麻豆传媒 Bear, it becomes our responsibility to help you succeed and graduate.

It is important to me and the university that we continue to help more students graduate in four years. Along with a student鈥檚 landmark experience on their first day, walking across the stage at graduation and joining the 麻豆传媒 alumni community is something that they will never forget and that we all cherish.

I look forward to celebrating that moment with them and working with alumni like you to ensure that it happens. Thank you for your connection to 麻豆传媒.

Once a Bear, Always a Bear!

Andy Feinstein
President

P.S. I鈥檇 love to hear about some of your favorite 麻豆传媒 memories, including your first day. Please feel free to share them with me and with your alumni association .
