As a Bear, your career after 鶹ý can take you anywhere. And, like many 鶹ý alumni, you might be facing a career transition. Whether you're considering a career change or launching a new one, you may want to explore new options, add a new skill, or navigating a job search in a new location. No matter your phase in life, the decision to change or launch a career can be difficult. But you're not alone.
This spring the 鶹ý Alumni Associaiton is providing new and updated services to support your professional growth, so you can be in-the-know about the newest tools available to you as you develop or begin your career. We’re launching webinars, continuing career chats and hosting regional events in Northern Colorado and Denver, plus you have access to programs and opportunities hosted through our partnership with 鶹ý Center for Career Readiness and the campus colleges.
“We are deliberately aligning alumni services to support the career development of our constituents, no matter the stage or phase of their career,” said Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations Lyndsey Crum ’05. “And online and digital programs, like those available this spring, allow us to better support and engage alumni regardless of location.”
So, whether you’re applying to a new role, updating your résumé and cover letter, or building new connections in the Bear Network, the 鶹ý Alumni Association offers the programming and resources that you need to take the next step in your career.

Listen and learn how to put your Bear Network to work with one of our short digital tutorials about using LinkedIn. This suite of career tutorials was created by us with insight from you, and are designed to easily support you as you put the Bear Network of 130,000 alumni to work for you.
Making a big career move doesn’t have to be scary, because you’re not alone. You are supported by the world-wide 鶹ý Bear Network and an alumni relations team ready to connect you to the career advice and resources that you need to take your career to the next stage.
“Alumni career paths aren’t linear. A new role can take you in a completely different direction, but knowing you have an alumni network who have shared the same experiences can bring you the support and connections you need,” said Assistant Director of Alumni Relations Chris Garcia ’08. “Just by reaching out, a new connection can lead to more; a conversation, a job, or even a mentor.”
