first and second floor will support prospective students, current students, alumni,
employer and community visitors.
Facing north-east toward the University Center, the future GPS+ will house Â鶹´«Ã½'s integrated
student services.
GPS+ will be located on the second floor of the Campus Commons but at the same elevation
of the main floor of the University Center - seen here. In between the University
Center and Campus Commons will be an open quad space for student gatherings and events.
GPS+ Director Sarah Chase and Assistant Vice President Kirk Leichliter discuss the
space plans for the GPS+ and supporting consultation rooms, all which will be located
on the second floor of the Campus Commons.
Balcony view of the future 600-seat Performance Hall. Once the roof is installed,
the construction team will undertake an additional year of work to create and customize
every aspect of the state-of-the-art facility.
The first floor of the Campus Commons will include a 60-person presentation room which
is taking shape on the western edge of the lobby.
The 60-person presentation room will serve as the starting point for prospective student
daily tours and other events throughout the day.
A 400-seat multi-purpose room will offer retractable seating or open floor options
in order to accommodate various university events. The room will have adjacent catering
support and is located next to the future cafe.
