Important Dates 

  • Thursday, January 2 12:00 PM (Noon): 2025-26 Academic Year contract  available
  • Friday, January 31 11:59 PM: Students completing the contract on or before this date will be in Priority Group A
  • Saturday, February 1 12:00 AM (midnight): Students completing the contract on or after this date will be in Priority Group B
  • Tuesday, March 11 beginning at 3:00 PM (MDT): Lottery open to Group A students
  • Tuesday, March 18 beginning at 3:00 PM (MDT): Lottery open to all students
  • Completing the Contract

    1. Log into the and log in using your Ursa/BearMail information (SSO)
    2. On the Home page, next to “Your Housing Applications” click on “View Applications”. This will list all contracts that are available to you
    3. Click on “Apply Now” next to the contract you want to submit.
    4. Read through the contract questions carefully and answer all required questions.
    5. When the questions have been answered, click on “Save and Continue”.
    6. Read through the “Terms and Conditions” and confirm the contract.
    7. Click on “Pay deposit with TouchNet” to move to the deposit payment page.
    8. Once your deposit has been paid, you will be redirected to the confirmation screen with further information and will receive an email confirmation to your 鶹ý BearMail.

2025 - 2026 Continuing Students - Residence Halls/Houses

If you currently live on campus, you can sign up for a space during our Call Dibs campaign and live on campus with us again. You can sign up to live in the residence halls or university-owned house. Returning residents have more meal plan options.

Spring 2025 First-Year/Transfer Students

You’re new or transferring to 鶹ý for the Spring 2025 semester and we’re excited you’re joining the Bear family! After you’ve submitted your confirmation deposit, you’ll be able to submit a housing contract using your Ursa log-in credentials. There’s a 24-hour/one business day delay between the time the deposit is paid and when you can apply for housing.

  • Completing the Housing Contract

    1. Log in to the  using your Ursa credentials. Note: use only the first part of your login before the @bears.unco.edu. For example if your login is klaw1889@bears.unco.edu, only enter klaw1889.
    2. Read the Housing Contract Terms and Conditions.
    3. Review your student information for accuracy. If you need to make changes contact the Office of the Registrar at 970-351-4862.
    4. Consider living in a Residential Learning Community. You’ll be asked if you’re interested in living in a Residential Learning Community, so it’s a good idea to review the Residential Learning Communities to see if you’d like to call one of these communities home.
    5. Rank housing tiers in your order of preference. If you selected a Residential Learning Community, you’ll be placed in the hall where the Residential Learning Community resides. This doesn’t guarantee you’ll be assigned to your top-tier preference and will only be used if you don’t assign yourself to a room in step 9, below.
    6. Request a roommate. If you want to request a roommate, you can do so via the Housing contract. Just include their Bears @bears.unco.edu email address and Bear number in the roommate preference field. This doesn’t guarantee you’ll be assigned with your roommate preference and will only be used if you don’t assign yourself to a room.
    7. Select a meal plan. All first-year students living on campus must carry at least a 14-meal plan.
    8. Pay the housing deposit. Pay the $100 housing deposit via credit card or by selecting "pay later" in the housing contract. If you select pay later, your housing contract will be incomplete until your payment has been made. If your $200 enrollment confirmation deposit was waived by admissions, your housing deposit will be postponed, not waived, until your first student bill in August. Once the deposit is paid you’ll receive an email confirmation via your 鶹ý email address. If you don’t receive a confirmation email, please contact us at 970-351-2721 to confirm payment.
    9. Select your room (not available for spring contracts). You’ll be able to select your room based on which priority group you’re assigned to, which is based on the date we received your completed Housing and Dining Contract. The “Find A Room” link will be activated in your contract when your assigned priority group is scheduled.

2025 - 2026 New To 鶹ý Graduate and International Students

鶹ý Housing offers affordable housing and dining options for graduate students. Our university-owned houses and Arlington Park Apartments are great options for our graduate and international students. However, spaces are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to submit your applications early! Many graduate students choose to sign up for a meal plan whether living on or off campus because it’s so convenient. You can grab a bite to eat on campus while staying focused on your studies or research.

2025 Summer Students

If you are living on campus for the summer ter, your fall financial aid doesn't pay your summer balances. Any summer balance from classes or housing must be paid before fall classes start or you may be dropped from your Fall 2025 classes. Summer financial aid is limited, so if you are not sure if you will receive summer aid or how much, please contact the Office of Financial Aid.

2025 Extended Campus and Graduate Students - Summer Programs

Summer students will live in South Hall or North Hall. These residence halls are part of the Ridge Neighborhood, located on West Campus. The Ride Neighborhood is within walking distance of Holmes Dining Hall, the Campus Recreation Center, Turner Green, Campus Commons, and the University Center, and the West Campus academic buildings.
