Â鶹´«Ã½ is Colorado's newest Hispanic Serving Institution, and as part of its focus on building and fostering cultural responsiveness, this new certificate program in Spanish for the Professions equips students who are preparing for careers in business, criminal justice, or health care to communicate effectively with native Spanish-speaking stakeholders.

    Students whose prior experience with Spanish results in a placement test score beyond  may, on completion of their first Spanish language course with a "B" grade or higher, ask their academic advisor to submit a Prior Learning Credit form, to receive credit for the lower-level Spanish prerequisite courses.
