Opportunities

Asian Pacific American Student Services (APASS)

APASS seeks to foster the academic, social, and cultural identity development of the Asian Pacific Islander community and to enrich and integrate culture into Â鶹´«Ã½. We value culture, authenticity, inclusion, and academic success within our philosophy and services. These services include academic coaching, and leadership development for Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s Asian-Pacific Islander student population, as well as cultural and educational programs for the broader Â鶹´«Ã½ community. APASS staff strive to create a safe, inclusive environment for all who visit the center.

Center for Women's and Gender Equity (CWGE)

The CWGE honors gender as a central identity and engages critical women’s and gender issues, while challenging systems of inequity and advocating for change at Â鶹´«Ã½.

César Chávez Cultural Center and Undocumented Student Services

The César Chávez Cultural Center provides a home away from home for students across the Latinx diaspora where their social identities, culture, ethnicity, language, and traditions are respected and validated through holistic support. We embrace equity and inclusive practices with a student-centered approach and social justice lens. We also house Undocumented Student Services and the DREAMer Engagement Program.

Undocumented Student Services strives to provide academic, financial, and immigration-related resources and support for students with undocumented status. Students who have Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), and those with no status are eligible to participate.

 

COSI Scholars Program

COSI seeks to offer tuition assistance and wrap around student support services to ensure that every Colorado student has affordable access to postsecondary education, and support services to complete a degree or certificate in their desired career and enter into Colorado’s workforce.

Gender and Sexuality Resource Center (GSRC)

Our mission is to advocate for, educate with, and support all identities across the gender, sexual, and romantic spectrums through an intersectional lens. We build an equitable and inclusive culture of care on our campus in order to have a positive impact on the career readiness, graduation rates, and holistic success of Â鶹´«Ã½ students.

Marcus Garvey Cultural Center (MGCC)

The MGCC provides a place of emotional safety, which includes favorable conditions and opportunities, in order to support holistic growth and development, for Black Diasporic students.

Native American Student Services (NASS)

NASS aims to promote academic and leadership excellence of Native American students at Â鶹´«Ã½. NASS seeks to enrich the Â鶹´«Ã½ community through academic, social and cultural programs that reflect the tradition, heritage and history of Native America.

Stryker Institute for Leadership Development

The Stryker Institute for Leadership Development is a participation-based scholarship program that serves women from under-represented groups and supports scholars in their identity and leadership development.

Understanding and Navigating Inclusion Through Education (UNITE)

The UNITE series gives the Â鶹´«Ã½ community the opportunity to begin or continue conversations in relation to diversity, equity and inclusion across a broad range of identities.

Veterans Services

Our mission is to empower military affiliated students by providing superb student-centered service, practical and appropriate resources, and an inclusive community of support.
