Career Opportunities

The graduates of the Â鶹´«Ã½ early childhood teacher education program are employed in elementary classrooms, county agencies, Head Start programs, and pre-schools in Public Schools. Some of them are directors or assistant directors of child-care centers. Others received Montessori training in addition to their Â鶹´«Ã½ degrees and are employed by Montessori schools. Some students have opened their own home childcares, and still others work in private schools. Students who decide during their programs to go on to graduate school become counselors, special education teachers, speech therapists, and pediatricians.

Hear from Our Graduates

“My job is exciting and full of surprise and I have never felt as though I was not prepared for my first teaching experience. Thanks again for your Â鶹´«Ã½ program and making my dreams finally come true. I had raised my own children and had an associate’s degree but didn’t think I could go on and be a teacher in a public school. Going from Aims to Â鶹´«Ã½ and earning my degree has truly changed and blessed my life!â€
