Evaluation Timeline
Third Monday in September
College Deans notify faculty eligible for promotion and/or tenure or required to undergo Annual/Biennial/Triennial and/or Comprehensive Review no later than the third Monday in September. A copy of the list should be sent to relevant Schools or Departments, Human Resources, and Academic Affairs.
October-November
College Deans notify Chairs/Directors of College level deadlines. Chairs/Directors notify faculty of Department/School Level Deadlines. Faculty electing to undergo optional Annual/Biennial/Triennial or Comprehensive Reviews notify their Chair/Director and College Dean. Deans provided updated final list of all faculty undergoing reviews to Human Resources and Academic Affairs.
December
Final lists of evaluations approved by Human Resources and Academic Affairs. Colleges add appropriate faculty names to Faculty Success* workflows and launch evaluation processes.
January-March
Eligible faculty members submit dossiers in Faculty Success*. Program area faculty, Chairs/Directors, and Deans complete reviews in accordance with established deadlines for the year.
Monday of Spring Break
Dean deadline for comprehensive reviews (must submit by this date). All previous steps then have an opportunity to respond. Review of faculty dossiers by Provost and the Provost's staff will begin as soon as response steps complete.
Early to Mid May
Provost's stage completed for all comprehensive reviews submitted by deadline. Provost recommendation summary submitted to President; letters sent to faculty in Faculty Success*.
Two weeks before June BOT Meeting
Promotion and tenure recommendations to BOT for June meeting.
Third Monday in May
Annual/Biennial Evaluations due.
July
Final notification of Board approval sent to faculty.
There are no longer evaluation forms. Information previously collected on the forms are now built into the Faculty Success* workflows.
*Digital Measures is now called Faculty Success.

Annual Sabbatical Deadlines
End of Spring Semester
Faculty eligible for sabbatical are notified no later than the contract end date of spring semester.
Third Monday in October
Eligible faculty submit proposals to their chair.
Second Monday in November
Chair and faculty recommendations are submitted to the dean.
First Monday in December
Dean, chair, and faculty recommendations are submitted to the provost.
January
Provost sends sabbatical notifications.
February Board of Trustees' meeting
Provost reports decisions to the Board of Trustees.
