Professional Organizations

The American Counseling Association is the world's largest association representing professional counselors in various practice settings. From webinars, publications, and journals to Conference education sessions and legislative action alerts, ACA is where counseling professionals turn for powerful, credible content and support.

The American Rehabilitation Counseling Association is an organization of rehabilitation counseling practitioners, educators, and students who are concerned with improving the lives of people with disabilities with specialized training and expertise in providing counseling and other services.

The National Council on Rehabilitation Education is a professional organization of educators dedicated to quality services for persons with disabilities through education and research. NCRE advocates up-to-date education and training and the maintenance of professional standards in the field of rehabilitation.

The National Rehabilitation Association is a member organization that promotes ethical and state of the art practice in rehabilitation with the goal of the personal and economic independence of persons with disabilities.

VECAP is a nonprofit organization originally founded in 1967 to promote the professions and services of vocational evaluation and work adjustment.
