B.S. Earth Sciences: Environmental Science Emphasis
The University of Northern Colorado is ideally located for studying environmental science. With some of the most complex water diversions in the world, a growing population, and some of the most iconic mountains and rivers of the United States, there is always a lot of environmental work to do!
Our comprehensive Environmental Earth Science degree prepares students with a strong physical science foundation including coursework in earth and atmospheric science, chemistry, physics and mathematics. You will build skills in hydrologic sciences, earth surface processes, data collection and data analysis, and scientific writing. Built-in flexibility allows students to seek additional expertise in any branch of environmental coursework across campus, including geography and sustainability studies, economics, or biological sciences.
