EAS Student Awarded 2019 Lunar and Planetary Institute Young Career Award

Davitia James was awarded a 2019 Young Career Award in conjunction with the in The Woodlands, Texas.

Sixteen awards were given to the best and brightest NASA - and European Space Agency -funded graduate students from around the world, selected from a pool of nearly 200 applicants.

Davitia also presented a paper entitled “Using structure from motion and high-resolution digital elevation models to investigate the relationships between emplacement history and lava surface roughness: Hawaii, California and Mars”.
