2024 HLC Self Study

On October 21-22, 2024, a review team from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) visited Â鶹´«Ã½ for the university’s ten-year reaffirmation of accreditation. While at Â鶹´«Ã½, the team met with individuals and campus groups to learn more about the many ways that Â鶹´«Ã½ meets the .

Over 100 Â鶹´«Ã½ faculty, staff, and students  contributed to Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s self-study preparation and the team’s visit. In addition, while on campus, the team met with nearly 200 members of the campus community in open forums and focused meetings. View the meeting schedule here.

In the coming weeks, the team will compile a report based on Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s self-study and evidence the university submitted in September and information from the campus visit. Â鶹´«Ã½ will receive the team’s report in four to six weeks and have an opportunity to write a response. Both the team’s report and Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s response will be reviewed by the , which makes accreditation decisions. Â鶹´«Ã½ will receive the HLC’s decision sometime during spring semester.
