麻豆传媒 School of Teacher Education Professor, Matthew Farber, Ed.D., has ties to an online component surrounding the recently released film that debuted number one on Hulu, 鈥淥RIGIN.鈥 Directed by Ava DuVernay, 鈥淥RIGIN鈥, is about a journalist who investigates the global phenomenon of caste and its dark influence on society while uncovering the beauty of human resilience. Following the film, a was released to promote further discussion of racism, culture and community. The interactive online experience walks the reader through different lessons that Farber and seven others around the nation wrote.
鈥淭he goal with this project is to give the audience an educational experience beyond the movie itself,鈥 Farber said. 鈥淲e all created a one stop shop where people can learn about the themes of the movie. It was a great opportunity and experience to be part of.鈥
