The host of an NPR program will moderate a panel discussion on Colorado's oil and gas development  as part of an event called "1A Across America." The gets underway at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at the University Center. "1A Across America" aims to bring local and regional issues into the national conversation "to rectify gaps in national" coverage. Producers identified six public media stations with strong ties to their local communities to bring underreported issues and concerns to a national audience. In addition to Greeley, other host sites are in Birmingham, Ala.; Flint, Mich; Houston; Wichita, Kan.; and Minnesota.
