The City of Greeley recently partnered with to launch a one-year micromobility pilot program that will bring e-scooters and e-bikes to Â鶹´«Ã½'s campus and downtown Greeley.
Approximately 75 e-scooters and e-bikes will be available for short-term rental on Â鶹´«Ã½'s campus as part of the initial project soft-launch on Monday, Oct. 28. A bigger launch is planned next spring that will bring additional vehicles to the campus and downtown areas.
According to the city, riders can access the vehicles through the SPIN mobile app, which allows users to locate, rent and pay for rides. The app will also provide information on where to ride, park and report issues.
University community members can use their Â鶹´«Ã½ email account to receive 50% off rides. Additional discounts may apply for individuals enrolled in publc benefit programs, including Pell Grant recipients. Check the app for more information.
The program is slated to run through December 2025.
