The Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion invites applications for the second cohort of fellows.
The DDEI Fellows program is designed to provide Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s faculty and staff with opportunities to develop competency and praxis in equity and inclusion and develop program management, change management and organizational development skillsets. Fellows are tasked with designing and developing a program, policy or practice, such as to bring the institution and its work closer to the strategic initiatives and goals. The DDEI community is committed to institutional change and hopes this fellowship provides additional concrete ways of engaging in deep, meaningful equity and inclusion work. The second cohort will have nine fellows, all representing different areas of the university, including academic colleges, administrative units and affiliated organizational offices/departments.
DDEI is excited to begin this work to make the campus community a more solutions-oriented, personally engaging and equitable place. You can find out more about the program, including eligibility (all full-time staff and faculty are eligible), compensation ($4,000 total for two-year commitment, $2,000 stipend per year), time commitment (around 10-12 hours per month), and outcomes (a culminating project that address an equity-based issue on Â鶹´«Ã½'s campus) on the DDEI website.
The application closes on Friday, Aug. 30, at 11:59 p.m.
