Two Phelps Family C.A.P. Award scholarships are available for 2024-2025 with increased amounts of $10,000 each. The award is designated for juniors or seniors from any major.
Championed by Â鶹´«Ã½ friends Bob and Bonnie Phelps Family, the C.A.P. Awards recognize students whose lives demonstrate an exceptional and exemplary personal commitment to the principles of "Contribute, Achieve and Pay it Forward."
Undergraduate students should apply through the Â鶹´«Ã½ Scholarship Application which opens Nov. 1, and can begin preparing materials now. Information about the application requirements are available online.
C.A.P. Principles:
- Contribute… by volunteering time and personal skills, talents, abilities, experience and passion around issues in service to the community.
- Achieve… by displaying a bias toward action and performance, overcoming obstacles and setbacks, and accomplishing goals.
- Pay-it-forward… by impacting the lives of others in meaningful and positive ways through random and planned acts of kindness, caring, and “giving back.â€
